CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Our activities are always guided by the highest integrity and ethical standards. KBA-NotaSys adheres to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

KBA-NotaSys is one of the signatory companies of the Banknote Ethics Initiative (BnEI), which was launched in 2013.

BnEI was established to provide ethical business practice and maintain high ethical standards, with a focus on the prevention of corruption and compliance with anti‑trust law within the banknote industry.

We are now among NINE of the leading companies in the banknote industry and very proud of our achievements.

This accreditation shows that we are dedicated to good practices – working honestly, with transparency, every day.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Environmental credentials are also of paramount importance to KBA-NotaSys. There are four ways we are implementing improvements that are sensitive to the environment:

  1. KBA-NotaSys is continually developing new ways of reducing the ecological impact of banknote printing. Investing in this domain is not only an ethical responsibility but also a way to harness cost-effective solutions for our industry.
  2. Our new facility in Lausanne is CO2 neutral. We put great emphasis on the separation of various types of waste generated through printing processes and other office activities.
  3. We are one of only two companies using Lausanne’s remote heating network for cooling purposes.
  4. Our naturally covered rooftop is not only environmentally friendly but it also creates a more pleasant working environment.
